Welcome to the Consular Section of the Virtual Presence Post Tobago! Within the Embassy, the Consular Section is responsible for day to day interaction with Trinbagonians regarding Non-Immigrant or Immigrant Visas.   Whether you intend to visit, work, vacation, study or live in the U.S., a visit to the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy in Port of Spain is the first step of this journey.  The Consular staff endeavors to provide superior customer service and support during the visa application process.  If you are traveling from Tobago to Trinidad for the day to apply for a visa, please let the Consular staff know.  We will make every effort to expedite your interview to accommodate your return trip to Tobago.  

We in the Consular Section understand that the process of applying for a visa to the U.S. can be overwhelming and for Tobagonians the extra burden of having to travel to Trinidad to secure a visa can make it even more complicated.  In this section of the Virtual Presence Post, we hope to provide you with information that will make the preparations for and your actual visit to the Embassy a more straightforward one.
